1. General & Registration

GasPilot POS is a specialized Point-of-Sale (POS) and inventory management SaaS platform designed specifically for LPG gas plant owners, cooking gas stations, and multi-branch refills across Nigeria. It handles decimal gas weight sales, pump nozzle meter readings, tank dip reconciliation, bulk truck purchases, cashier shift floats, and credit debt tracking.

2. LPG Sales & Pump Dispenser Metering

Cashiers enter the exact LPG weight in KG (e.g. 0.5 KG, 3.2 KG, 12.5 KG, 50 KG) or click quick preset buttons. The system multiplies the quantity by the active selling price/KG (e.g. ₦1,600/KG) on the server to prevent client-side price tampering.

Yes! Owners can configure Pump 1, Pump 2, Nozzle A, Nozzle B, and LPG dispensing points. Every cashier sale selects the specific nozzle, and the system automatically advances the mechanical meter reading.

No. Price changes require owner/manager permission or Manager Authorization PIN. All price updates trigger audit logs, and price change requests can be routed for formal approval before taking effect.

3. Tank Dip Reconciliation & Bulk Deliveries

The system calculates expected closing stock:
Opening Tank Stock: 5,000 KG
+ LPG Received: 2,000 KG
- POS Sales: 1,500 KG
= Expected Closing: 5,500 KG
When the operator enters the physical dip measurement (e.g. 5,430 KG), the system flags the exact variance (e.g., -70 KG Stock Loss Variance) to detect leaks or theft.

Owners record supplier truck deliveries by entering supplier name, truck number, driver, invoice number, quantity received (KG), and cost/KG. Inventory automatically updates upon saving.

4. Thermal Receipts, QR Code & Offline POS

Cashiers can click "SEND WHATSAPP RECEIPT" to send sale summaries directly to customers. Printed thermal receipts feature a scannable QR Code leading to an online verification page (`https://www.gaspilotpos.site/public/verify-receipt`) confirming genuine database sales.

Yes! The built-in PWA Offline engine queues transactions in local storage if network connection drops. It automatically synchronizes sales with the server once internet is restored.
